Probably because the bluray looks worse.

The QTS rip is decent, and Moozzi’s is, well, Moozzi-like. The Discotek DVDs were not very good (I used to own them). xPearse, any chance for a zip file with just the subs - would be interesting to tack them on the BR rips and see which eye cancer I like best

@Halberton, there are the old subs from the previous DVD release which has a different TL, but I’ll extract and upload the VOB subs from Discotek’s release if you want them. However, I’m unsure if you’ll need to retime them for the BD which in turn would require them to be OCR’d. At any rate, the old ones can be found below. Let me know if you want the VOBs.

@solidsnake, that’s because the BD is a literal upscale and looks awful. There’s no point.
