Encoded from the Japanese DVDs and preserved in its original anamorphic widescreen format (which does give it a cinematic feel). Includes the dub and the 5.1 tracks from the UK release which are set on a delay through MKV given that there they were originally slightly off in regards to the Japanese video.
That said, you’re probably wondering “why not BD”, but it’s a literal upscale and not an improvement over the DVDs even considering the anamorphic widescreen. At any rate, the extras (misc trailers, production art, tv spots, interviews and the like) are mostly from the Japanese DVDs (since the video quality was better) using the subs from what were on the UK DVDs, so not all are subbed, but most are. That said, do enjoy.

I’m confused, why is the video in widescreen but with black bars added on the top and bottom to make it 4:3?
