Thank you for the upload, Doc! The video is so damn good for the size, but why did you convert the audio? Isn’t better just to copy/mux? In the monitor doesn’t make a BIG difference, but in my headphone the Crunchyroll audio is clearly better. MPC-SmPlayer - In both the sound gets a little muffled when I watch with my headphone that has a better sound. Eng isn’t my native language, but thx again
@mattsildo There isn’t any discernible audio quality difference from the AAC to Opus in our conversion except that with Opus we can save a huge file size compared to AAC. The only drawback is beyond Stereo, such as 5.1, dolby, etc where we can’t convert that with Opus. Our encodes are to maintain near source quality while keeping the file size small. You can try PotPlayer 64 bit instead of MPC player and see if the sound is better on that, it is also our preferred media player. Thanks for your feedback and visit our community page in Discord to see future release and previews.
Now that you talked about this, is there a possibility to be the problem? Hahaha I use a 7.1 Revolver Headset and in the players it was configured to play the audio in 7.1 surround. I switched back to default stereo and it is good, but the audio gets distorted in higher volumes than 125 (in the Erai release it doesn’t happen). I’ll try PotPlayer anyway, thx for the recommendation. I added the RSS to your releases and I’ll keep downloading :)
That high decibel setting at 125 sustained is not recommended for anybody as it can probably lead to a hearing damage or hearing loss. Regardless, If you are still aren’t getting the desired audio in your headset, even with the PotPlayer then you can just use Erai’s audio and mux it with our encode, if you don’t mind the added file size.
IKR. My PC Audio is in 50, because the ALC-1220 of my mobo gets the sound so loud in the majority of the apps and games, so I keep in 50% to not adjust one by one. So in the exciting openings of animes and series, I switch to 125-150, that is like 62.5-75. But thx for your worrying.
And I’m already muxing with MKVMerge, I think that 17mb is little difference to convert, but now I’m trying some encodes of other files with Opus in StaxRip. Ty again for the attention, Doc
Yeah, we won’t usually encode to higher bitrate in Opus unless the source is from a high quality source like BluRay or BDRips FLAC. For a stream web-rip our standard settings are quite optimal for the majority of the downloaders.

Chapters and timing or is it just another straight rip…?
Doc_Ramen (uploader)
No chapters on this. Just straight encode from the source. If other fansubbers with chapters make one then we will make v2.

I made chapters do you want them?
Doc_Ramen (uploader)
@HexxTheSwagger Sure. Maybe we’ll make v2 with chapters. Send it in our Discord channel.
