Why didn't you add the English subs as well? I appreciate your efforts, but this may lead people to think that the subs were already ripped and no one steps for it.

Thanks so much. I was hoping someone would do these. I'll admit, I was hoping the netflix dub was the ADV dub, which I have found super difficult to find anywhere (I know it only got to like episode 41 too) but I've heard the translation work they did was much better than the original. I'll definitely give this one a try.

Even if Netflix doesn't dub the remaining episodes, I think there's a good chance that they'll at least get streamed with English subs. In Brazil, where all 114 episodes are available on Netflix, the Portuguese subs for the streams were clearly translated from English scripts. Looking forward to the day when there will finally be decent English subs for the Asgard and Poseidon arcs.

I honestly hope the remaining EPs get dubbed.

@raulr What English subs are you talking about? The ones that are easily found on many websites are terrible because they were ripped from HK bootleg DVDs, but Netflix's subs are fine, although I have some quibbles with the terminology.

I absolutely hope they will continue doing this dub. I think it's wonderful we're getting a new dub for a series so old and I really don't want to see another one incomplete.

Nice to see that Saint Seiya is appreciated here. A combination of the ADV dub + Netflix dub with R2J video would be excellent. Maybe even the Broadcast Audio? Dunno if that's really worth it.

@impakt Saint seiya don't have broadcast audios, the audios from dougo13's recordings are the same as the dvd, it never aired with cinetape audios does the english dub have 5.1 tracks?

I know I won't be arsed to include it. This isn't like Evangelion, where the redub is shit. In this case, the redub IS better.

@impakt I downloaded the R2J DVD's & was going to add the NF dub & sub to them but then I found a R3 720p upscale that is stunning quality, its much better than the R2J even. I was uploading them here(like 10 episodes) but then nyaa banned my account(even my IP) and deleted all my torrents. A little harsh but whatever, I suspect its because they don't allow DVD upscales even if the quality is by far the best. There's other DVD upscales they haven't removed but the uploaders were smart enough to not clearly state it as upscale like I did. Anyway, I won't ever upload anything here again but maybe when I'm all done I'll upload it at a private tracker.

Thanks very much, Herikawa! I'm an old fan of Saint Seiya and, for curiosity, I decided to watch the new English dub. Sadly, they suddenly removed the eng option in my country (I'm Brazilian and so is my Netflix account), but I loved this new version. As of now it's on the same level of the Japanese and Latino dubs. They really got the spirit of the original dub (except for Ikki, in my opinion). Saga's voice actor is even more threatening than the Japanese and Brazilian. Maybe I'll use snippets of your torrent to post clips on Youtube in the new eng dub.

@ Invert I have ADV's Saint Seiya Collection 1 (this one was ripped by a user at ACM though I've converted to DVD ISO as it was in VIDEO_TS) and 2 (gonna pick it up tomorrow, to be exact) so I'll happily share it with everyone here. I think that covers episodes 001 to 060. I made a promise to JySzE to share the U.K./A.U. Dragon Ball GT DVDs with him (who then will share at far faster speeds) so once I'm done with that I'll get to Saint Seiya. My upload speed is only of 300 KiB/s so I can't do too much with it. @ Ratman That does sound very interesting, but yeah Nyaa doesn't allow fan upscales. I kinda agree with them, but then you see distributors doing upscales too and sometimes it's even worse than a fan would do and then you wonder if fan upscales should really be prohibited after all.

When/if Netflix released more of Saint Seiya are you gonna be upload it? It would be extremely appreciated from me if you could.

New episodes dropped on netflix please rip them when you can :) Looks like S4 (rest of sanctuary arc) is up now and S5 (asgard) will be up soon... seems they accidentally uploaded S5 without the subs and pulled it back down but the guy who did the TL for them on twitter seems to think maybe it was a technical issue they'll fix in the next day or so

They are so hard to find now and as far as i know they were never ripped. Sucks cause they were unedited and the dub much improved. Still not a complete set of episodes though.

Couldn't care less about dub (what is this hubbub about dub anyways, SS has the all-star Japanese VAs...), all I need is more subbed episodes (12 Palaces Arc), finally those krabsticks can be forgotten and thrown into oblivion they belong! After that, it's finally the elusive Asgard Arc, which also got krabsticks for all these years... it's kinda weird that one of the most famous Jump series still haven't got proper subs all the way through knowing the huge fanbase... Shame on you (or us). At least Poseidon Arc has been fansubbed, but I'm still waiting for official ones. Anyways! Thank you and please upload more eps. This is amazing stuff~

People here don't get it. The guy doesn't post anything since 2019. He's basically disappeared. If any of you know how to extract episodes from Netflix, it should be doing it right now and posting it in Nyaa.
