I guess it is the trend of this decade, like put a black playboybunny shape censorship on tits in some playboymagazines. It is a very sad trend, slowly should stop watching new shows and turn back to the archives. Shitty CGI, more shitty 3D animation, because someone too lazy or just can not draw a picture. Quality down, shitty excuses about suicides, epidemics or no excuses, just shitty work. My favorite shows are minimum 10 years old. Late night animes not for children, adults do not need censorship, japan hentais the most sick ones in the whole world, And all censored…I just can not find the reason behind this artifical prudery…

it’s an old japanese law, do some research on it. it’s literally why all porn must have some form of censor when being distributed throughout japan, the censor it’s self doesn’t have to be good or completely block out the genital area but it must, in some form, obscure a full visual of it.

the reason why it’s fine in the opening is probably because it’s only on screen for milliseconds and not the focus of the opening.

the law sucks but it is what it is, maybe it will eventually be pulled from law but it’s not looking likely even with the cool guy they voted into office.
