Shingu: Secret of the Stellar Wars (学園戦記ムリョウ Gakuen Senki Muryō, lit. “Record of School Wars Muryou”)

In the year 2070, a strange alien ship appears over the skies of the small town Tenmo, scrambling the electrical grid and confirming the existence of extra terrestrial life. Then a mysterious new transfer student arrives at his school wearing an ancient school uniform. His name is Muryou, and with his arrival, everything begins to change. To young Hajime Morata, this news is exciting and new - but to the townspeople, school council members and even the new exchange student Muryou Subaru, nothing going on in the skies is out of the ordinary. For it seems that Earth houses both intergalactic ambassadors and planet defenders alike - at least one of whom can use the power of the giant Shingu to battle incoming invaders - and Hajime is somehow connected. In addition to helping plan school festivals and living his day to day life, Hajime slowly begins to discover the secret behind his town and himself.

Note: Thanks to Kirion for the Blu-Ray video encode. It was better than the DVD’s. I re-encoded to MKV, added English audio from the DVD’s and re-timed it. New restyled subtitles. Ep.14.5 is a Re-cap. I included it as a extra. If anyone can provide subs I’ll mux them in, or someone else can just do a separate release. AniDB lists it separately. I had a previous version of this encode up on NYAA, The main difference is the re timed English audio. Any adjustments to this would be slight if any. I thought the English actors did a good job on this one.
