Synopsis
Kazuya Kujou is a foreign student at Saint Marguerite Academy, a luxurious boarding school in the Southern European country of Sauville. Originally from Japan, his jet-black hair and dark brown eyes cause his peers to shun him and give him the nickname “Black Reaper,” based on a popular urban legend about the traveler who brings death in the spring.
On a day like any other, Kujou visits the school’s extravagant library in search of ghost stories. However, his focus soon changes as he becomes curious about a golden strand of hair on the stairs. The steps lead him to a large garden and a beautiful doll-like girl known as Victorique de Blois, whose complex and imaginative foresight allows her to predict their futures, now intertwined.
With more mysteries quickly developing—including the appearance of a ghost ship and an alchemist with the power of transmutation—Victorique and Kujou, bound by fate and their unique skills, have no choice but to rely on each other.

The audio files are aac, but labeled flac.

@fruitsbasket81 all of my audio are AAC, my older torrent are opus, even opus is better than aac, people had difficulty to play it, so now I use aac, the encoder, copy everything from tags from the source, the source tagged everything as flac, but the audio codec is AAC
Thanks for pointing that out

Is this ordered chapters? The OP and ED are not being read when I play episodes with MPC.
Ravarage (uploader)
@Shawn sadly yes OP and ED are on separate files, I notice that now

Yeah, setting up the Ordered Chapters stuff is a bit of a faff, but since it was done for the release you’ve encoded from, you kind of needed to do it here too. I think the right process would have been to encode the OP/ED parts first, get their MKV IDs, then use those when copying the metadata from the re-encoded episodes. It’s a feature I always really appreciate when people do, but that I end up never doing myself.

To get the OP and ED working I needed to edit their segment unique IDs with MKVToolNix GUI as follows:
OP: 9bc0eacbc228916295cffb119226defc
ED1: a51aff9fe43307a3a942bda7fbef09a1
ED2: b7f480ac9257f28db6a55a6a81cfe4ef
The timing and maintaining subtitle track choice didn’t work correctly in VLC, but worked fine in MPC-HC.
Finally, the OP seems to be missing the lyric subtitles in the English subtitle track, so I needed to swap the ID and default track flag with the Signs/Songs track.

none of the episodes play on the latest version of VLC on my PC. only the Creditless Opening and Endings will play.
i remuxed the files without the Chapters listing, and then they played fine. it appears your chapter listings have an extra ChapterAtoms at certain parts that overlap other ChapterAtoms. this is not officially supported, and its simple enough to remove, so i’m not sure why it was left in…
as for it saying FLAC, you know you can edit that in mkvtoolnix, right?

Ordered chapter garbage is obnoxious in the age of Plex/Jellyfin servers
