If the books aren’t getting processed on Play Books, do the following. Edit the epubs using calibre

  • Remove the lines which contain ../kobo.js from the content.opf file
  • Vol 1, remove either of the <span> tag from the cover image in cover.xhtml, cuz otherwise the cover image doesn’t load
  • Vol 2, add the deleted line from above to this epub volume in cover.xhtml (IDK why it works though, but it works)
    Ex: <span xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" class="koboSpan" id="kobo.1.1">

Make sure to close the span tag.
