I honestly don’t understand why anybody would need more than 720p for animation. Even regular live action TV is fine at 720p. For top tier movies I’ll go to 1080. Otherwise it’s just a waste of disk space.
@MaxWilder, agreed, not always but it’s usually upscaled anyway, it’s pointless unless as you say it’s a top tier movie with enough detail to warrant it.
