isn’t almighty encode better?
NeutralHatred (uploader)
Almighty is some random encoder with no reputation. I don’t have the special eyes that can see the intricacies in video quality so I only go by reputation and the opinions of others who can see those intricacies.

There’s like 3 people that truly can.

Encoding isn’t an important part of the fansubbing process anyway.

It’s about how thicc your release is.

@Astral Do you post just on BBT or AB/Any x private tracker?
I saw ton of releases with your subs but couldn’t find any of your release.

I don’t publicly upload anything of mine personally, private tracker or otherwise. I often work on shows for myself and let other people use what I’ve made as part of their own release if they are willing to do QCing and fix any relevant issues I’ve missed (spelling errors, timing problems, TS issues, etc…). For example, see Asakura’s Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari release. My subtitles were used as a base, but he massively improved things and we ended up with an even better release than what I could do by myself. If you’re willing to do the same and help me out, let me know!
You’re welcome to talk to me on Discord (Astral#3664) if you have any other questions to avoid filling up NH’s comment section.
I hope that answers your question at least.

Nice release. I didn’t notice VCB’s encode since it was in the Non-English instead of Raw. They did a good job fixing the ringing.

why no commentary track?
