  • Video Info: 804p HEVC 10bit + FLAC 2.0 + DTSHD 5.1
  • P/P: The source has a problem when I crop the video to 804p, it’s missing 1 pixels row at the bottom. Exactly the video resolution is 803p but we use 4:2:0 subsample so 803p isn’t possible. We noticed that Netflix WebDL doesn’t have this problem, so we used 2 pixels row at the bottom of Netflix Webdl to replace the missing pixels row from BD. Then we also apply a basic filter chain, dritylines clean (But LOL we forgot to fix right border), denoise, AA, dehalo, dering, light linedarkening, deband, adaptivegrain. Video encoded by x265 with fine compression.
  • We highly recommend using MPC/xy-VSFilter or MPV/Libass, preferably Xysubfilter

I muxed wrong sub. Vietnamese subtitle is English, English subtitle is Vietnamese

English sub = guesslation.
Heard something better is coming soon.

Seems like you guys translated from en to vi, has the same mistakes, though those are there in pretty much every release till now :’)

@TNCurz: Can you list some examples?

@tuilakhanh39 Can you upload with the subs and fonts only? :)

@kizanime07 There’re too many to point out, like Kamiyan93 said those were “gueslantions”. For one example, you can take the dialogue at 0:09:41.14 which says “I might even hire you as full-time when you graduate.”, the Japanese dialogue never said anything about graduation.

Netflix’s subs are just an englshified version of these “geusslations”, so you won’t have much luck there either.

@TNCurz: Oh yeah, he said about money, not college. I translated base on YOUKO’s ver and also found a few similar cases but they are not completely wrong. If u have Japanese subtitle, can u share it with me?

@kizanime07 No, it wasn’t related to money, he was actually talking about how helpful Tsuneo was. Sadly, I don’t have a Japanese sub file. I translated it by ear, didn’t transcribe the dialogues.

Trust me, Youko’s version is pretty horrendous, Happy and Youkou are more or less the same varying only in the typos/weird spaces (Youkou) and English. Many dialogues aren’t completely translated along with quite a few mistranslations.

he said 金額 right?
“Many dialogues aren’t completely translated along with quite a few mistranslations.” That right, especially in the part when Josee tells the mermaid story.

@kizanime07 I think you’ve mixed it up with the previous dialogue. There, Tsuneo says 金具 (かなぐ), not 金額.

Maybe he said Tsuneo really helpful with that, I thought he said about Tsuneo help him to save money to fix it, that’s why Hayato teased? Right?

@kizanime07 Ah, you mean the shop owner’s (dk his name) dialogue. It’s actually something like this "You’re being so sensible is such a help, I want you to be a full-time employee."
I’ll most likely tweak it a bit when I tlc/ed later but this should be the gist of it.

@TNCurz Dunno if you noticed, but the opening credits in the HappySubs get the names of certain production staff wrong. Hopefully that’ll be fixed in your subs.

@MD_Prometh I haven’t got to that yet, never really read those. Thanks for letting me know.

@MD_Prometh I’m guessing you were referring to 神林剛, that was most likely because of
smh

:’)

And 梅崎ひろこ too, though not as bad as the last, seems to be the same gtl issue.
