Thanx for the extra time and effort thats always put into every Ember file shared.
The noticeable change recently reminded me of something someone once said. It was a simple in a nutshell explanation about HEVC.
1) HEVC space saving is actually not a thing. Equivalent quality encodes between HEVC and AVC are almost always roughly same size.
HEVC only really saves space by denoising by default which degrades quality. This is exactly why no reputably encode group encodes
with HEVC. Because there isn't any reason to needlessly spend 4x as long encoding for roughly same file size and quality. Thus only real
reason for HEVC usage is HDR concerns with 4K sources
Also I know this is a completely selfish request but it never hurts to ask. If it's not a problem, would you go back to the prior way you were encoding EMBER files. I have a way to reencode files back to AVC8@24fps without losing image quality and regain their compatibility and versatility which all files lose when encoded to something other than the media world standards.
