I couldn't find a good copy of the English dub and I didn't think it was worth it to track down the US BD just to rip it so single audio only.

Good thing that supposition doesn't apply to Utena seeing as it's one of the greatest anime ever made. The official subs are awful, though.

The English dub is abysmal and uses the same awful Central Park Media TL. Very much recommend avoiding at all costs.
Yeah, wait for SomeStuff. I checked the official version out of curiosity and there were something like 15 mistranslations in the first 14 minutes of episode 1, at which point I stopped counting.
Eh, Utena was still a great show when all we had were shitty HK subs. Besides if you really wanted to you could just download the SomeStuff's subs and use them for the first 13 episodes. BTW, the 2.0 track on all of the Blu-ray releases is just a downmix of the 5.1 remix. Unfortunately nobody seems to have synced the LD, the original 1998 R2J DVD or the CPM R1 DVD JP tracks. Same with Nadesico.
On ep 3, she tell us she is normal (not lesbian). LOL
I never watched this before, but I can see right away, the black/foreign/prince guy is Himemiya's brother.
