Synopsis
A decade ago, a tragic shipwreck separated Fena Houtman from her childhood friend Yukimaru and took her father’s life. Now, at age 23, she is trapped on an island and is doomed to spend the rest of her life selling herself to men. On the night she is to be forcibly wed to a client, Fena hatches a plan to escape from her employers, but two old acquaintances unexpectedly intervene and help her run away.
The three make haste for the open sea and land upon Goblin Island—a mysterious place that a clan of fierce warriors call home. It is there that Fena learns that her father’s ill-fated final journey at sea was in search of a place called “Eden,” the location of something important that he had to protect. With nothing but a clear crystal as a clue, Fena is tasked with finding this place, as she is the only person who can do so.
While still contemplating the search for what her father left behind, Fena reunites with Yukimaru, who encourages her to take up the quest. Now the captain of a seven-person crew, Fena must navigate the high seas in search of Eden. But as uncanny groups begin to target her, the perilous journey proves to be even more challenging than it previously seemed.
Language Options
I included two simple scripts that you can apply to these files to do the following (Windows only):
To apply these put all the video files into the Language Options folder and run the .bat file.
Don’t combine them and only use them once together with the base files.

@neoHEVC, how come you have changed your Language Options thing from changing defaults to only throwing out one of the dub/subs. While I prefer to have Japanese Language / full subs as default, because of the wonderful magic you additionally put into these, I would also like to keep the English /part subs for alterative use but this is no longer one of the options you offer. As I am a technologically impaired old fart, I don’t know how to get the player to do things automatically so I guess the only thing I can do is change things episode by episode!!

@Father_Snrub
I changed the handling of default/force flags on the subtitle tracks which made the other scripts obsolete. Now the [Dialogue] subtitle track is set to default while the [Signs&Songs] subtitle track is forced. This allows your player, if set up correctly, to choose the correct combination of audio+subtitle which wasn’t really possible before. Before, there was no distinction between the subtitle tracks. Both were tagged with language=english and one of them was default. The player had no chance to differentiate between them when playing the audio track with language=english or language=japanese.
If you want to use this system effectively, set your player up the following way:
Audio Language = your choice English or Japanese
Subtitle Language = English
Show subtitle with matching audio = No
Now all you have to do is define your prefered audio language. When you pick English, then the player is instructed to not show subs (because matching languages) but it is forced to play the forced track, which is [Signs&Songs]. When playing Japanese, the player chooses the default subtitles track which is [Dialogue]
MPV
This would be the example configuration for mpv (goes into your mpv.conf):
PLEX

This setup also works on PLEX with the following setup (which is the main reason i switched it up)
Other players
Im sure many other popular players have similar settings.
If you really want the old scripts to work again I could hook you up with a new one that switches everything back to the way it was before. Just hit me up in discord if you need help with any of this. I’m sure we find a solution for you =)
