in what way is this a remix, before I spend the time to download 36 gigs of material? It looks letterboxed, which means some of the top or bottom or both, has been removed to make it fit modern tv’s better? is it rescanned at the source to make it higher than 480p quality??

It’s what the edition is called.

As for the screenshots (should be 720x480, not 640x480), I took them via MPC-HC without any changes and I’ve added MediaInfo to the main post, for extra technical details.
