Since you are using neohevc’s subs, what possible reason would I have to not go with their release?. Not like your filtering is anything special. Just putting out encodes for the sake of it I guess.

They’re just using the subs I think; Ember encoding has 2.5 to 3x the bitrate vs the neohevc amongst other things
It’s not really for the ‘sake of it’ either since Ember always releases the WEBRIP batch first, then the bluray rip later (which is this one)

If you want bitrate, go for a proper encode like Reza. If you want mini then go for neohevc. This exists in middle of those though with not good enough filtering to warrant the higher size but don’t take my word for it just compare it and you will hardly see a difference while you see a difference between this and Reza.
Also your second paragraph is what just for sake of it is.
