Here’s a release of the first Crayon Shin-chan movie, Action Mask vs Leotard Devil. This is a HEVC encode of the recently released Japanese BD. Color correcting and cropping to 1.85:1 to get rid of windowboxing was done in Davinci Resolve. My first color correcting job, and as such it’s not perfect, and there was only so much I could do with such a dated master. Feel free to give feedback on the CC.

Contains a simplified version of KureyonAlliance’s fansubs from years ago. Please be aware that said fansubs are outdated, and use derogatory homophobic/transphobic slurs that were considered much more acceptable on the internet back then. Also includes the chapters, Japanese PGS subs, and production art in a separate ZIP.

I may get around to doing the other movies or even redoing my CC for this movie, but for the earlier I’m not in a rush, as their BD masters are in much better shape than this one and I may not even touch them up at all. For the latter I’m a bit busy with life, and am rather new to color correcting in Resolve.
