Since these videos are 10-bit AV1, you should make sure you have a fully updated version of your video player to avoid playback issues, whether it's [MPC](https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc/releases/tag/2.0.0), [mpv](https://mpv.io/), or [VLC](https://www.videolan.org/vlc/).
To avoid image quality problems in dark scenes, you may want to watch these encodes in mpv with `profile=gpu-hq` and `deband=no` added to the conf file, or in MPC-HC with madVR installed.

Can *you* tell the difference? I am going to download this anyway, but I would like to see evidence that the current wave of bloat is justified. For me, it's not.
You can probably spot them during motion scenes and there's still no easily available way to compare motion scenes between two different releases.
But I believe unless you have like an insanely big screen and stand right in front of it, the AV1 release is more than good enough for your needs.
Some people can easily tell the difference between comparisons in the description (09 is probably the easiest). If you can't, then this is the release for you.
There's nothing wrong with not being able to tell. It depends a lot on what kind of screen you are using. The point of me making this release is that the extra size really is useless to many people.
