“Wakakusa no Charlotte” was made in 1.426:1 aspect ratio, slightly wider than standard 1.33:1 (aka 4:3). Comparatively it is closest in ratio to the traditional IMAX format at 1.43:1. Of course, there will still be black bars on the left & right side of the screen like any other 4:3 production, but they will as an effect be slightly smaller. Because the video was untouched in these files, the black bars are included in this 1920x1080 remux (as opposed to usually being cropped out).
