If we ignore the noise, the native resolution turns out to be about 844p. We thought it was sort of a Taisho romance expression at the very beginning. However, when we noticed that the lines were generally with aliasing and ringing, and that there was a noticeable color banding in very certain scenes, we couldn't help but suspect that this wasn't the case. After several attempts at different encoding parameters, we weighed up the pros and cons, then finally opted for a decimated denoising processing to keep a reasonable bit-rate, while we did retain noise in certain necessary scenes and the OP part. We also performed the routine rescaling, anti-aliasing, de-ringing and debanding.
