Yes, a high fidelity Trix release. BTW I hesitated between ThiccTrix and ChonkyTrix for the tag.
This was done on a request, thanks to anon for providing me the JPBD for encoding purposes.
The source was filtered to fix a number of issues, especially regarding the lineart. The visuals in Blue Lock are very sharp, leading to some really annoying haloing. It's riddled with aliasing and ringing issues as well. Additionally, the bluray was lowpassed in many instances, leading to blurrier visuals in many scenes compared to WEB. Lastly, the grain can be quite ugly and inconsistent at times, a direct consequence of compression artifacts.
Therefore, the filtering here consisted of **delowpassing, spatio-temporal denoising, dehaloing, antialiasing and some compensatory contrasharpening**. The delowpassing and antialiasing were scenefiltered to the best of my capabilities, whereas the denoising and dehaloing steps used masks to avoid being too destructive.
SVT-AV1-PSY and its experimental psy-rd implementation were used. The quality target is close to transparency (CRF8). A few scenes were zoned. The encoding params can be found in the MediaInfo. [**Comparisons**](https://slow.pics/c/ezuXrGqC)
**Expectations:** is this transparent 100% of the time: no. Is it noticeable: hardly. Can this be improved: probably. Is this preferable to watch than the source: definitely.
*Even the freaking banner just above is filtered cause I couldn't find it without crazy amounts of mosquito noise lmao*

They require a +1000ms track delay to sync with the video.
