Thank you for a great job of making the best subs for this anime. <3 In ep 2 the opening had 2 rows of romaji and 2 rows of translation - it was covering the pictures too much ---> in ep 3 it's NOW PERFECT. (And the ending's romaji and translation looks better too.) Just 1 thing I'm not happy about - translating nicknames. Why is Mike changed into Mittens and Miketaro into Mickey Mouse? I thought that sounded so stupid in the official manga translation, and now that I've heard how the nicknames sound in Japanese, I think even more that they sound too stupid when "translated". I mean, you aren't translating Nacchin. Why translate Mike and Miketaro? T___T This reminds me of when I was reading the official German translation of the Sailor Moon manga and Usagi was translated as Bunny. Like, WTF? Who translates names? Anyway, if you think Mittens and Mickey Mouse is a good choice and you want to stick with it, there's 1 line where you did it wrong. (09:48 - "Mike-chan" --- should be Mittens.) (If you ever feel like changing the nicknames, I'll gladly rewatch the episodes and write all the times where the nicknames come up. - I already wrote for myself where Mike and Miketaro are used in ep 3, I can do the same for Nacchin and any other nickname that maybe comes later in the anime.) [Salchow] release is by far the best so far. But I wanted to point out some translations that sound wrong to me or which the characters just aren’t saying. Hope you don’t mind. Feel free to ignore them if you think they are insignificant. I did it for ep 2 too. ^^; (Ep 1 was pure perfection, so no need for that one. <3)
00:07 - Even after you passed ----- After the test, huh... 03:09 -> the title of the episode is written twice in English . 07:21 - You're gonna do it the way I tell you to do it! ----- I'm telling you because you are! [[Doing it like that.]] 07:43 - I don't think a student... I don't think a coach... is supposed to talk like that. ----- To your student... To your coach... is it ok to speak like that? . 09:48 - Mike-chan ----- Mittens 09:58 - I-I know you're my friend, and that's really important, but... ----- O-Of course you're my friend, but... 10:08 - When I decided to start skating, ----- I decided by myself that I wanted to skate, . 11:09 - If you're afraid of the grown-ups not liking you, ----- [[In the end, you're just like everyone I hate,]] ,if you're afraid of the grown-ups hating you. 11:12 - then maybe skating isn't for you. ----- Actually, I don't think skating is for you. 11:23 - And you can't even dance in front of other people. ----- Can you even dance by yourself? . 15:27 - 23 days until the competition -----> 17 15:52 - Is she crazy? Doesn't she know what fear is?! ----- Most people would be afraid to. Doesn't she care about her safety? 16:16 - If Inori lands that double jump and Mittens loses, she'll totally freak out and transfer schools! ------> not "transfer schools", but "switch clubs" . 19:54 - Inori-chan! -----> Inori-san! 20:03 - Instead of trying to jump, imagine you're folding your skating leg in. -----> not "in", but "up" 20:26 - And she isn't wobbling! ----- The skating leg isn't wavering! 21:25 - There's no "maybe"! I will make sure she gets first place! ----- I will make sure she wins this competition!

We'll recheck a couple of those lines, but most of them are fine as-is, just different ways of conveying essentially the same thing Can you clarify what you mean by `03:09 -> the title of the episode is written twice in English`? This sounds like it might be a player issue, so please test with MPV if you're not using it
