Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! [Season 1]

Synopsis
Despite not understanding much about fleeting teen romance, first-year high school student Kazuhiko Nukumizu still wonders how he would react if his life were to be turned into a love story. Regardless, as a self-proclaimed “background character,” Nukumizu is satisfied continuing his life as an introvert with a negligible social life. However, he suddenly finds himself too close to the spotlight when he witnesses his popular classmate Anna Yanami be rejected by her childhood friend in the middle of a family restaurant.

While Nukumizu wishes he could just forget what he saw and move on, Anna ends up forcefully confiding herself in Nukumizu, lamenting her status as a childhood friend fated to have her beloved stolen. As he becomes dragged into Anna’s situation, Nukumizu soon gets caught up in the relationship drama of two more girls: Lemon Yakishio, an outgoing member of the track and field club; and Chika Komari, a shy member of the literature club. Now thrust out of his comfort zone, Nukumizu finds himself a major character in the lives of too many losing heroines.

Thank you for using my subs! I had a lot of fun working on them (even if I just restyled CR, unblurred TS, lazily subbed the other songs, and did some other minor fixes) as well as watching this show as it aired! I wish you could’ve resubbed my OP, ED2, and ED3, maybe even with karaoke Romaji lyrics (since you’re much better at this than I am, since I just put out speedsubs within 1 day of each episode to have everyone and myself watch the peak of the season ASAP, and also since I gave up release making before v2’ing and batching the series), and also used E-AC-3 AMZN English audio (that is only 17 MiB larger in file size per episode, but significantly better in quality), but it’s fine. Thank you for adding lyrics to the full-length OP in the final episode, though, especially for doing so in the way I have! You’re awesome, neo. Please keep up the good work. <3

Im more than happy with subs that already have some songs in them and I personally don’t really need the most elaborate effects :D Saves me precious time of my life to actually watch some stuff. I’m basically just a muxer when it comes to subs and only do some basic editing for raw web subs to at least have something. Only rarely can I bring myself to put in big effort for stuff like signs or songs. Unless it’s one of my fav franchises maybe.

Fair enough, and I feel the same regarding saving time. Been watching a whole lot more anime since deciding to simply torrent whatever’s available (and sometimes even stream on CR/NF/DSNP) instead of making my own high-effort muxes or even subs. The editing and occasional TS work on the subs is also appreciated. Understandable that you’d want to put the extra effort for your favorite anime, haha.
