Orphan Fansubs presents the first English version of Nakazawa Kenji’s 1990 film, Kuro ga Ita Natsu (Summer with Kuro). The fourth and last of Kenji’s animated works about the bombing of Hiroshima, this movie focuses on the experiences of one young Japanese girl and her pet cat, Kuro, in the summer of 1945.

Translated, timed, edited, typeset, QCed and encoded by Orphan. The R2J DVD source was mastered poorly and is filled with blended frames and other artifacts.
