This is the HDTV remaster of the original Mahoujin Guru Guru. It was probably done to increase the popularity of the anime that’s airing now. The subs are based on the A-Keep release, made by Inactive. All the files except the sub of episode 2 are the same as the ones on BakaBT and probably Animebytes (fixed timing). Some other episodes need timing fix, but it’s not unwatchable.

I concur ! When the original 1994 release would have only been about 176MiB per ep , a 720p re-release to about 8 to 12GiB for the series would be very reasonable . I hope someone will try such a thing .

Seeing the 50Gs tells me the video is probably over encoded. I’m going to see if I can make a re-encode with the same/similar quality after I get Nadesico done. (Also and over encode)
